Drunk Driver Given Life Sentence in Canada

Roger Walsh was sentenced to life in jail for a hit-and-run in which he killed a woman. When I first read this it seemed Canada's justice system was really cracking down on drunk drivers - then this paragraph jumped off the page:

It was the 19th time that he had been convicted for impaired driving. He also has 114 prior convictions for assault, uttering threats, breaking and entering, as well as theft. -CTV
